Dear MASH Wildcat Families,
It was a great week at MASH.
This week we had the pleasure of welcoming parents and guardians into our school for Spring Conferences. A strong partnership with families is an essential ingredient in the recipe for student success. Open and consistent communication between home and school helps ensure that students receive the support they need to grow academically and personally.
If you would like to connect with your child’s teachers or support team, staff email addresses can be accessed through our website:

Families can also stay informed about student progress by checking the Sapphire gradebook. In addition, some teachers share announcements, assignments, and updates through Google Classroom.
This week also included an opportunity for students to connect during our CREW period. As a reminder, CREW stands for “Creating Relationships with Every Wildcat.” This advisory structure has been a proud MASH tradition for more than 25 years and typically occurs twice each month. CREW provides students with time to build relationships, reflect on their experiences, and strengthen their sense of belonging in our school community.
Looking ahead to April, we are excited for our Link CREW student leaders to join ninth-grade CREW sessions to share advice and encouragement as freshmen finish their first year of high school and begin thinking about the year ahead. Link CREW leaders are also beginning their work supporting the transition of our rising ninth graders as they prepare to join the MASH community.
April will also bring several meaningful events and experiences for our students, including our annual Blood Drive, Cultural Heritage Day, and memorable end-of-year events such as Prom. Senior students and their families will soon begin receiving information about the many celebrations and milestones that accompany the end of the school year.
Another special highlight this week was hosting a visiting group of high school students and educators from Wales for three days. Our students and staff had the opportunity to engage with them alongside partners from Susquehanna Township High School. Together we explored topics such as leadership, self-awareness, and how communities approach change and growth. It was a powerful and memorable learning experience for everyone involved.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our students and our school. It makes a difference.
Warm regards,
Sincerely,
Joseph P. Reidy
