A Phone Call is Not Enough: PA Law requires a written note or email within 3 days of an absence. Must include students name, the date of the absence, and a reason for the absence.

Doctor Note Required: For 3 plus absent days in a row to confirm illness

Appointments Not Excused: Driving Lessons and Drivers/Permit Tests should be scheduled outside of school hours as they are not an excusable absence

Educational Trips: Complete form 1 week before trip, Maximum of 10 days per school year

College Visit: Complete form 3 days before visit
