Dear MASH Families,
At MASH, we strongly believe in helping students overcome challenges. Adapting to conditions not in our control is an important part of that learning experience. Thank you for your cooperation, flexibility, and trust this past week as we navigated some stubborn inclement weather. While some of our students certainly appreciated the extra time to sleep in, I think it is safe to say that many are ready to return to the consistency and routine that the school day provides. We appreciate your partnership in helping students adjust and stay on track during weather-related changes.
As we begin a new week at MASH, we welcome in February. This is a special time in our building as we look forward to end-of-season winter athletic competitions, preparations for the spring musical, and so many different student activities taking place throughout our school community. Our next Third in the Burg will take place on February 20th, immediately after school for students. More information will be shared soon.
Save the Date – Teacher Conferences
It was wonderful to see our families at Back to School Night for semester two. Another opportunity to engage with your child's teachers is coming up. Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. This is an important opportunity for families to connect with teachers, review student progress, and discuss goals for the remainder of the school year. Additional information, including conference sign-up details, will be shared soon.
Student Course Registration
Course registration planning for the 2026–2027 school year is well underway. Students in rising grades 10, 11, and 12 are continuing to explore and refine their course selections. Our counselors have completed their classroom visits with students, and the coming months will focus on further refinement of selections as we begin developing next year’s master schedule.
Families and students are encouraged to review course offerings and planning resources by visiting the course selection website:

Thank you for your continued support of our students and school community. Have a wonderful week and stay warm and safe.
Sincerely,
Joe Reidy
