A Look Back at Last Week

Girls on the Run

Our Girls on the Run program wrapped up last weekend with a celebratory 5K at Harrisburg Area Community College! Way to go, girls-you did an amazing job!

2nd Grade Field Trip to Hershey Gardens

Last Monday, our 2nd graders enjoyed a wonderful trip to Hershey Gardens, where they explored plants, learned how seeds grow, and visited the butterfly atrium. Check out some highlights below!

November Community Meeting

Last Tuesday, we held our November Community Meeting. Students learned healthy habits from our school nurse, reviewed a self-control lesson with Mrs. Lawler, interviewed Mrs. Pehanich and Mrs. Hennessy, and celebrated our November Super Paw recipients. Enjoy the photos below!

Board Game Day

Thanks to positive behavior throughout November, students earned a special Board Game Day during our ½-day on Tuesday. It was a fun way to kick off Thanksgiving break!

We have been wrapping up our first trimester of music! Students are assessed on their ability to achieve the goals. The meaning of the rating scale can be found on the first page of your child’s report card

Below are the first grade music Trimester 1 achievement goals –

Students will be able to… differentiate voice types; activate head voice; locate and express steady beat through body percussion; demonstrate comprehension through echoing vocally and kinesthetically.
