In keeping with Shepherdstown tradition, we will be pampering the staff at Shepherdstown this year during Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-8th. We are looking for your donations to make this possible.

We will be providing desserts, lunch, a gift card grab bag for teachers/staff, massages and coffee spread out throughout the week. One of the biggest ways in which you can partner with us to show our appreciation is by purchasing gift cards that we can use for food that we will be providing or gift cards from local businesses that can then be entered into the gift card grab bag.

Donation items MUST be dropped off at the Shepherdstown office (labeled PTO Teacher appreciation Week) or please text Beth Flood (717-451-8944) to coordinate other arrangements.

Donations are needed by the end of the day Monday, May 4th.

First, Second and Third grade students have been having a blast using the Design Process to help them create Stop Motion Animation movies. Students have been learning the intricacies of making stop motion movies, through “how it is made” videos and examples. Student have been using Stop Motion Studio on their iPads to create movies using Hot Wheels cars, Legos, suction cup stick figures and Playdough! 

It’s amazing to see how creative students have been throughout our explorations!!
