Last week, we celebrated our most successful year yet of the Kids Heart Challenge at Shepherdstown. To mark the occasion, students had the opportunity to pie Mr. Wharton, Mr. Echelmeier, Mrs. Lawler, and Mr. Castner. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of the families who participated and supported this event.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised $13,626 for the American Heart Association. Additionally, 44 students completed Finn’s Mission, ranking 15th in the entire state—an outstanding achievement.

Students who earned post-event incentives, such as T-shirts, jump ropes, and other rewards, can expect to receive them in the coming weeks. Items will be distributed to your child as soon as they arrive.

In Physical Education this week, all grade levels will begin a speed stacking unit before transitioning to Field Day activities. It is hard to believe that time of year is already approaching.

As we prepare for Field Day, we are still in need of a few additional volunteers to help lead activity stations or provide snacks and water. If you are interested in volunteering, please scan the QR code below for more information.
