Good Evening students and families of the Class of 2026,
As we move through the end of March and look ahead to the exciting final months of the school year, we want to share several important dates and reminders related to graduation and commencement.
Legendary coach John Wooden often reminded his players: “Make each day your masterpiece.” As you soon approach the final marking period of your high school journey, Class of 2026, this is your moment to make it count. Finish strong, take pride in the work you do each day, and enjoy the experiences that mark the close of this important chapter.
The following senior events are also posted on our district website for your reference:
May 21, 2026 – Senior Awards Ceremony (by invitation)
• 6:00 PM – Reception (MASH Cafeteria Area)
• 6:45 PM – Awards Program (MASH Auditorium)
May 22, 2026 – Last in-school day for seniors / Last CREW session
May 26, 2026 – 9:00–11:00 AM – Mandatory Class Meeting (Auditorium)
• Senior Messages / Chromebook turn-in / Obligations review
• Cap and gown distribution
May 27, 2026 – 9:00–11:00 AM – Mandatory Class Meeting (Auditorium)
• Senior Messages / Obligation Collections
• Kindergarten Academy, Elmwood (TBD), and MMS Graduate Walk
May 28, 2026 – 9:00–11:00 AM – Mandatory Class Meeting (Auditorium)
• Commencement ticket distribution (7 tickets per family)
May 29, 2026
• 9:30 AM – Commencement Rehearsal @ Memorial Stadium
(Students must provide their own transportation to the stadium)
• 6:30 PM – Class of 2026 Commencement @ Memorial Stadium
*Rain Date #1 - May 30th / Rain Date #2 - May 31st
As noted above, students will receive seven commencement tickets per family on May 28. Seating will be assigned by family to maximize viewing, photo opportunities, and proximity to your graduate.
Accessible seating is available upon request for one guest and one accompanying family member at the ground level of the stadium. Please note that these seats are included within the allotted seven tickets, not in addition to them. Requests should be emailed to Mrs. Karyn Lombardi at klombardi@mbgsd.org. While we will do our best to accommodate all needs, requests submitted after May 22 cannot be guaranteed.
As May 29 approaches, we will continue to share additional information and reminders. Please check your email regularly for updates.
